Re: light 16x8 or 9's...

Ugh... Apparently they are not really that light... :(

From what I gather their 17*8 is about the same as what I have now, 21#. Not going to spend that kind of money for just a styling change.

BOO. I sure liked the looks of them.

Re: light 16x8 or 9's...

That style wheel goes well with the car IMO, I actually think I like them as much or more than RS's!.. I think these are probably 18's?... anyway I wanted an idea on how the look on the car, painted white to match the body. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5104/5665797577_0f4d63ec12.jpg

Yep. I like the Compomotive TH 17x8's. More available than the OZ variants. Plus you can customize anything about them, offset etc.

Re: light 16x8 or 9's...

4 lug. Price....good question. Guess it depends on how much i like them.

Wouldent you know it, I do like the white K-1's, would fit my motif also.

Which wheels do you have Tony? 8.5 is cool.

light 16x8 or 9's...

Im researching race wheels for my autox adventures. Im thinking 16x9 would be the size. Lighter than the 17's, And I think tires are a little less $$ too if im not mistaken. Or I guess 8's would be OK too. depends on whats available.

Re: MVRK - DIY - E30 Stock Carpet Removal

Yeah a dead pedal is a must if your going to street drive for any distance, the only thing I miss. TBO its not intollerably loud inside without the carpet at all, a little noisy on the passengers side but overall fine.

Coilovers are the thing that really wears on the street driving.

I havent been able to get the stomp test to work as of late... I wonder if the Miller MAF has anything to do with it.

Re: MVRK - DIY - E30 Stock Carpet Removal

Nice little write up. I was amazed how thick the foam was in places when I tore mine out. Good riddance to carpet, I like cleaning the floor with a garden hose.

This is slick, but I'll make my own for $250 http://store.vacmotorsports.com/vac---e ... -p333.aspx

What is that part with the oil leak..? Looks like it has a snap ring. If so it might be just a O ring inside that needs replacing.

Re: Sunroof delete

Cored fiberglass. 6oz cloth/core/6 ounce cloth If I had some CF I might put it on the last layer just to see it inside for bling, but I dont have any at the moment so fuck it. Yoshi that works fine, I just dident want to have to do any body work. http://rpmtech.smugmug.com/Other/BMW/i-H7FCwvm/0/M/P4...
