Re: pix/vids of me drifting yesterday

If I didn't run 7 qts of oil I would get lifter tick while drifting for long periods of time. It is a common problem for auto x due to the pickup being in the front.

Re: Dexter Turbo Drift E30

The hose from the back of the head goes to the bottom inlet on the heater core and the one from under the manifold goes on the top inlet.

Re: NV M50 Headgasket Change

So basically it is a total bitch lol. I just read the writeup on pelican's site. I am going to continue to read before I attempt this. Have to save up some money to get the parts anyways.

Is the bently manual going to cover enough where as it is a one off type of thing? Yoshi, any words of ad...

Re: NV M50+Vert+lots of parts

Today started out great then went to shit. Got a factory bmw manual for 84 318/325's. It is old but there appears to be some good information about the trannies and information about rebuilding diff's. I was happy about that so I decided to go and work on my car. Put my m-diff cover, went to press i...

Re: NV M50+Vert+lots of parts

The metal is 16 gauge I think. They need to be deburr'd but other than that they are nice. I would rather have to many than not enough. Anything I have left I will just save for the next project.

Re: Yoshi's house renovation! Hardwood floor ftw

I am working on a paver patio right now. Rather than starting a new thread about it, I will just add to yoshi's and we can call it the home improvement/get poor fast thread :) . dug out about 6" of ground and leveled it(almost done leveling it). Packed it down with a sweet rental vibrator packe...

Re: NV M50+Vert+lots of parts

Yay, more stuff came in today, 10 misc. mandrel bends, 4ft straight section, and my mounting arms. Got 10 3" mandrel bends for under $50 shipped, $20 for the straight section, $40 for the cat, $225 for the manifold and I'm not sure what muffler I'm going to run yet, but this system is going to ...

Re: NV M50+Vert+lots of parts

Definately the best thing ever when rebuilding an old car. I used to buy can after can of carb/brake cleaner and scrub with wire brushes for hours. Then I used my friends sandblaster, I never new what I was missing!! Saves hours of cleaning!

Re: NV M50+Vert+lots of parts

Sandblasted my diff cover tonight, went to take a pic of it and my pos camera died... If I didn't spend so much money on this car I would have a camera that is worth using by now.

Re: NV M50+Vert+lots of parts

Exactly, I work on my projects at my parents anyways lol. My IX and my vert are both at their house. The ver has been in their garage since the day I bought it.
