H1C problems

He has the same problems I do. Holsets don't like atmospheric pressure in the crank case or positive pressure. I think if he just put a pcv system in there, his oil problems would stop. That's what I did on my car but I'm so far out from driving it to find out of that's the solution.

Yeah, sounds like a PCV could solve the problem. I would think he would start seeing leaks at crank case seals also though if positive pressure in the crank case was the problem.

It's not necessarily positive crank case pressure. Holsets don't like atmospheric pressures either. Whats probably happening is that the feed is giving it more pressure when the revs are high that the return can't handle. A vacuum in the crank case would help "suck" the oil from the return. It's not all about return hose sizes. It's about oil levels being above the return point too.

Thanks for sending someone my way Yoshi. Where would you suggest this PCV valve be installed and what type of PCV valve?

No valve is really necessary. I just hooked mine up to the intake pre turbo. Some people do it on the exhaust side but that requires a check valve and you'll kill your cat.

Has anything come of this? My turbo is completely shot. The Thing that kills me is that I had a mosselman kit that mounted the turbo by the motor mount. That thing ran fine forever and it had a horizontal grain on it with two 90's.

Is it just something with this H1C and has anyone seen this issue with an HX35?

The turbo was too far gone by the time you shoved any pcv on it. if you run negative crank case pressure, the turbo should be fine. All holsets seem to have this issue.
