Yosh, how does this look? I already have an LC1, but I need another one for the Chevelle anyway, and it comes with injectors. How much power can 42# injectors support?

I'd see what he would take for just the MS3.

BUT Don't to MS3 unless you plan to go full sequential everything. Which means, you'd need a cam sensor. Otherwise, Ms1 or MS2 is a better fit.

He doesn't want to part the kit yet and a couple other members have dibs if it comes to that. Whats wrong with the rest of the kit? Why is MS3 only good for full sequential? I want to go sequential, but maybe not right away.

Eh, if you're going to toss that much money in, why go wasted spark you know? I guess it would work until you managed coil on plug.

MS3 isn't good for only sequential, it's just extra money you don't need to spend. I guess it's worth it for the injectors? BTW rough estimate is to multiply injector # 10 and thats what hp they support. EG 42# is good for 420whp. IIRC.

I figure it would leave me room to grow. It seems like a good deal with the injectors, coils, wide band, IAT, TPS, PnP harness, etc... I would only offer 800 shipped, you think it's worth it?

I'm weary of buying any MS stuff not from a shop... But this looks like it was built by DIY so it should be good. As long as the injectors and MS works, you pretty much have your money's worth. You get my thumbs up (even tho you already bought it)

Yeah, DIY built it for him. He said he paid over $540 for just the MS, so I figure it's a decent deal. I'll be needing some guidance Yosh, new territory for me.

MS3 can't be too different from MS2, no? I have no hands on experience with MS at all so you will be my main resource for questions I can't answer from browsing, like it or not.

I wonder if an MS2 tune will work on MS3? I need to get a tune for a NA M20 until I gets my turbo setup sorted out. Guess it's time to start reading up on MS3, where are you getting your info from Yosh?

Info for what? most of it is the MS forums or directly from Matt/Jerry at DIY.

VE and spark tables are universal. Never rely on someone else' MSQ file. With version differences being so annoying, they almost never work. Spark settings should translate from MS2 directly. The rest should be easily researchable.
