I would love to, but $1800 is just out of the question with no job. It would have to be fast to get away from my wifes wrath if I spent that much right now, lol.

about $500 you can have an MS setup. its not that bad. you can do a base line for about what $250? but $500 would get you an LC1 for tuning.

$500 for a complete MS setup with a wideband? Thats only fuel though right? I want to run fuel and spark. If it is only $500 for fuel and spark I could come up with that.

MS1 V3 prebuilt - $329
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/mega ... abc9bc8542

Harness starter kit (you 100% want this. Trust me) - $65
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/prod ... abc9bc8542

LC1 kit - $199
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/inno ... abc9bc8542

Total: $594

OK so closer to $600

you might be able to find the LC1 for cheaper somewhere else but thats all you need for fuel and spark. When you order the MS itself, just tell them what motor you're running and they will wire it for spark output. As long as you are running the stock distributor (not wasted spark or COP), its no extra charge.

you can get the 18 INCH harness for $20 less and you can probably find an LC1 for cheaper somewhere if you want. I hear there are cheaper O2 sensors you can buy that work with it but I dunno about mixing and matching em.

I love how its all easily accessible on diyautotune.

oh yea, $70 but its worth it:

It's the stimulator so you can bench test your MS before it goes on the car. Since yours is prebuilt, it isnt as necessary as in my case but if you get a 12v adapter plug from radio shack, you can upload MSQ files and flash firmware in your house instead of in the car. Saves a lot of hassle diagnosing if your wiring fucked up or the MS.

looking onto this, we'll see what I can scrounge up. I wouldn't use anything but an LC-1, heard too many stories of cheapo widebands preventing proper tuning.

Yea. LC1s are tried and true. I wouldn't use anything else (maybe an LM1)

Thanks Yoshi for the MSQ.
I have a MS2Extra setup running perfectly on a M20 turbo and I remember you saying it's basically the same for the M5x but it helps to have a cross reference.
Once I get mine going I'll post my settings as well.

The settings are essentially the same. I wouldn't use the same spark or ve tables.
