Are all those megasquirt settings for the m50 or m20?

The megamanual, and other reading I have done on the MegaSquirt.info site says that MS1 does not support an idle control valve.
How is idle adjusted?

Can the MS1 be modified to control an idle control valve?

You have to modify the MS to do an idle control valve. It can be done and has been done quite a few times. I haven't run one on all my cars though and I can always get a good idle. Tends to be 800rpms to 1200 rpms though. some ppl prefer 500rpm idles.

kilo pascals It's a unit of pressure. 100kpa is atmospheric pressure. When you see boost gauges say 0psi, it's really not 0, it's atmosphere.

It seems DIY doesn't really have any MS3 specific info on their site yet, is there someplace to find some good beginner info on installing/setting up my MS3 kit?

Will the stim you posted earlier for $70 still work with MS3?

SO does the megamanual still cover enough that applies to MS3 to be worth reading?

I think theres an MS3 specific part of the manual. I'm actually pretty sure of it. I read parts of it.

I'm reading the manual now, seems pretty straight forward.
