long story short:

uncle dicked me over .. i stripped the car of every usable part inckluding the coilovers, brakes, interior and everything

put the car in his shop, blew out the oil pan with a rock, smashed the windows all over the floor and left it as a suprise for him next time he decides top enter.

i got a phone call the next day .. he tried to tell me i had to clean it or he will leave it there .. i didnt see where that was my problem.

i had 2 other e30's. i am driving one of those now.

i saw in your dexter thread that you got a non-wg'd exhaust housing for it. do you know which turbo that rear is from ?

also how many lbs are you running on that setup ?

I got it from another HX35 that blew up lol. The compressor side killed some fins and fucked up that side. So my old sponsors gave me the back end.

I'm running 8psi for now (should be about 300whp) and when I know my car won't overhead and explode, I'm going for 15psi. My setup should be good up to 20psi reliably but I like to over build.

I might have dyno numbers as soon as tomorrow night. *fingers crossed*

Yea. If I had the non wg housing from the start. i could have avoided cutting the hood. Oh well. I enjoy watching the head radiate off the turbo when sitting in traffic tho.

Yoshi wrote:I think its HX40 compressor side on an HX35 turbo. They should bolt right up. I'm fairly sure the HX40 exhaust housing will bolt onto an HX35 but that would make it T4 flanged and spool like SHIT.

Newer Hx40s came in T3.

This is fine... People will know it's me just by looking at this text,
not my screen name.BLUE or perhaps a large .gif. Hmm.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT

or

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT

both claim the same measurements but the housings are different. either one will get rebuilt and rebalanced to fix the shaft play. but which is the one to go for ?

 ya i noticed the wastegates. i was just wondering if the location of the wg meant anything about the hx35. im assuming one is just older then another or something like that ? is the 12cm housing what im looking for ?
