h1c/hx35 mating

Postby 610EURO » Thu Jun 11, 2009 7:30 pm

will the non-wg exhaust housing from a h1c bolt to the rear of an hx35 ? the h1c is one of the larger ones, not the small h1c's. i looked through google and only things i could find was people switching from h1c's to hx35/hx40 hybrids. few threads on other forums like my question but none that had the answer to what im asking.

Why would you want to do that? It would kill spool so much. Thats like making an T4/T3.

How will it kill spool? You have no idea what size it is. :|
Yes, it will bolt on.

H1C is bigger, spools slower. If your compressor side is the same, it takes more exhaust for the same boost.

The turbine is the same exact shit as
the hx35. Bigger?

Where did he say it's bigger? How much bigger?
Are you trying to say the entire turbo is bigger?

The exhaust housing is physically a little bit bigger. If you look at the compressor maps for it, it spools later than an HX35. Think like a T3/T4.
