Post Recommend a Wideband!
Hey guys,

Now that I'm getting my E30 back together, I'm in the market for a wideband. Has anyone had good experiences with any gauge/sensor in particular?

I'm using a whodwho MS setup. The simpler the installation, the better -grin-

Innovative LC-1 or even the older LM-1 work.great. I got my LC-1 with the innovative gauge for $100 off the forums.

MS units come precalibrated for the LC1/LM1. I've never had an issue with mine. I'd go with that.

Sounds good, I've seen the LC-1 mentioned quite a bit, but it doesn't seem to be in too high of regard in other communities. It looks like it's my best bet, though!

I'm using the lc-1 as well, make sure you ground it well. Seems to be the only problem I've seen.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to try to get my hands on the one with the simple digital display by the end of the month.

Well, considering my car is running and my whodwho megasquirt is almost back from the man himself after some repairs, any recommendations on where to pick one of these up for a good price? The standard price seems about $200 for an LC-1 w/ simple display. Is that typical, or is there a secret I don't know?

I got one with a gauge for $100 on the forum. Throw up a WTB ad on r3v, won't take long to get one.

Well darn...I found them for sale on Fleabay by a company located in Orlando (about 100 miles for me) for $160 shipped. I just offered $150 even. We'll see what happens.
