All the way to 9 thousand!

I think an M20 breathing well could easily to 7k. I don't think the bottom end was the limit.

yeah, but unless that an '88 it's got flat pistons and those combustion chambers are for domed pistons. Maybe it won't work on a 2.5 because the pistons don't have valve reliefs for 4 valves. Plus, you would at the least need a new chip to bump up red line. Really, to fully utilize that head you would need new pistons and a custom tuned chip.

I've seen high compression builds that rev to 8k. Mine revs to 7200 now, and once I get the MSX installed and a new cam it will go to 7500.
