I bought mine with the rest of the kit from Matt (ten2Doyl102) a while ago, but I don't think he still sells them.

Why are you swapping to the 750iL master?

Because the MC from my 325is 1987 is 21mm and upgrading to the 750iL upgrade it to 25MM

Direct bolt on to the brake booster.

Brake pedal will be firmer and pedal travel won't be affected by the over sized caliper.

The only concer I have regards those fitting:
http://www.parcelparts.com/metric-inver ... ers-pkg-5/

when the brake hose male end screw into the female part of the fitting ... only 1.5 thread is used before it's tight... I don't feel it secure for severe track use ...

My brake hose are from ECS tuning.

Then I was looking at the caliper and I will test the brake hose directly into the FD caliper without the fitting. It should fit correctly

also, take a look at this topic: http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=83511

You don't need to upgrade the master. I heavily track my car and run the stock master, pedal feel is excellent. The ECS lines should be the same as any other stainless lines, make sure you have the right flair on the right side. Mine fully engaged.

Is there a down side to using a 750 master? I've had pretty bad luck with stock ones in my car. The current one is holding up for now, but if it goes again I'll be looking into other options.

Only down side would be if you don't like the harder pedal feel I suppose. I still run ABS so I didn't need to worry about pedal feel. What issues have you had with stock units? I would think an OE new master would be reliable. My buddy had his go out at the track and we ran to the local parts store and grabbed a cheapo brand and it held up find for the rest of the season.

My problem was just with junkyard units that never worked right. A new one would cost me half of what I paid for the car! lol

I hope you at least rinse them out first.
