I think I have always taken my wheel off for removing the cluster, takes all of 30 secs.

if you have a non air bag. I always take mine out with the wheel in. Cuz I always fuck up realigning the wheel.

Don't need pics man, 4 torx screws on the back sideof the wheel to remove the airbag, then the center nut just like non-airbag wheels. Just remember to disconnect the battery and wait an hour before unplugging the orange connector under the kick panel.

Battery was disconnected for 2 weeks so it was good. Two T30 torx right on the column (not the 4 I thought were around the wheel; farther out). Easy peasy.
