How low to go?

Springs and shocks. What keeps your car tight around corners?

How low to go?

Postby Mne666 » Tue Mar 12, 2013 7:29 am

So here's my plan, run h&r race springs on the standard shockers untill they go bang, in the mean time research coilovers and get some of those for in he future... Once it's at a nice height it might encourage me to get it looking nice.

With the euro plates, the trend here is to stick German style plates on cars, although its mainly just vw's rather than BMW, Skoda, seat etc.

The problem is that the police give you a point and a possible fine for having one on the roads so its a risk.

Are they German style on yours? No one would want uk, they are boring as hell

The spacing and font on the pics above look like the German style plates... Or is that what you mean by euro? They have a cool

I'm assuming -60mm ride height in the front and -40mm in the back.

Yea 60mm drop front and 40mm drop at the back.

I don't like the rear wheels being in the arches too much

Do they not sell them in the states? ll the shops here sell lowering kits which either do 40mm all round, 60mm all round or a 40/60 combination

We don't have that much suspension travel... more than 60mm stroke reduction up front and I'd want shorter dampers to give some travel back and allow for a better ride. 60/40 is common in Europe, so I'd expect you could find pics on E30Zone.
