Suspension buffet - AKA what am I doing?

Springs and shocks. What keeps your car tight around corners?

Yeah I think the SS lines are rebranded, but they were the cheapest DOT rated lines I found. My front sway is the biggest they offer and it fit just fine, but yes it is hollow.

fronts are easy. IIRC it's the rears that require the mods.

OK some driveshaft talk. CSB's hate me (not the bearings, but the rubber always craps out), so I'm thinking of doing this:
http://www.driveshaftshop.com/import-dr ... driveshaft

same price (roughly) as OE - any reason I should NOT do this?

thanks.

and go ahead and make this a build thread.

Does that come with 2 solid metal flex discs? Why 2? That's a bit more than I wanted to spend on a driveshaft, but I might have to consider it for the future.

they're bolt-hole adapters - not "guibos". I'll have to verify that they'll bolt to my triangle flange trans. compared to a DS straight from BMW, the price really isn't that bad.

Meh, if you want to spend $800, sure. You probably keep killing CSBs because your DS isn't balanced. A balance is like $50 or something. Worst case, your U joints are dead. I forget the rebuild costs Robert did but it def wasn't $800.

If you want to get picky it is "giubo", not "guibo", so we've all been saying/spelling it wrong the whole time. lol Point is do they mount where BMW originally placed the flex disc (by whatever name you call it)?

go to a local drive shaft shop, you'll get a much better price on a custom 1 piece shaft. I was quoted $300 a couple years ago. You wouldn't need to worry about those bolt adapters either, it would be direct fit with u-joints.
