Swaybar bushing mount bracket

Postby e30qasim » Sat Apr 12, 2014 12:06 am

Hi all, I am new to the forum and E30's, BMW period. I bought a 1987/88 325ic. Needed a lot of suspension work. I pretty much replaced the whole front end, including front subframe (used) because it was broken on one side where bushing bracket bolts on. Everything was fine for a few months. Now the second subframe brokeoff too.

A used subframe is not expensive but there is a lot of labor involved. Before I buy another one, wanted to find out if is it just my bad luck or it is a common problem with e30's!

I have not found any threads on this topic anywhere...

yeah, need to see pics to tell whats going on, but I can tell you broken subframe is not a common e30 problem.
