Would there be any interest in Rear Strut bars? Front Bars?

Springs and shocks. What keeps your car tight around corners?

Awesome. Don't ever follow the crowd. Nothin' like a competitive market place with NO monopolies. Also, since Halloween is over, isn't Mike's sale "technically" over? Haha  Keep up the good work Matt.

Yeah, that's what I am doing. I am just trying to make a good product and sell it. Hopefully the crowd will see that! :D

What most were asking for was to cut a slot into the end of the bar for the plate to tab into. I can do that, I just have to figure out the best way to do it. I am going in early tomorrow to design this change into the bar and hopefully get as much interest as Mike has on his bar.

I didn't like the idea of going to thinner stuff like 11 ga., but that's why I was going to gusset it. I don't know yet, I'll see what I can come up with tomorrow morning.

Matt

notching the bar is not needed, if that plate is notched and welded on both sides there will be more than enough strength, and I mean like 10:1 FOS which is way over designed. I design structural steel for a living, that bar will be stiff as a board. No matter how you design it, if you weld the plates on all the load is going to go through the welds, it's how the load is transferred through the welds that matters.

I need to PM Dave and see when he can meet me, but it would be on the weekend for sure. I'll let you know when he wants to do it after I talk to him.

New bar is in progress now. Hopefully they can get it jetted out before 2:30 so I can get it welded.

I haven't had them start your S.S. one just yet, probably tomorrow. Either way, if you're gonna be here this weekend, i'll make sure that it gets done on time! :)

sounds good, I'll be whoring the install pics all over the web so that should stir up some business for you, lol. I would like to see some pics of the final design before you start mine anyway. Depending on Dave's availability it may be the week after anyway.

Looks like tomorrow I am going to be getting the plates run.

Since they had the jet down, they had to catch up with other stuff. Its all good though, the welder that I had make the last one finished at 2:30 anyway and I want him to do it. His welds are pretty.

Fricking Mike gave me neg rep! LOL! :) I don't care though, I was not a fan of them after i noticed how little weld he had on it to secure the plate to the tube. Oh well.
