Filling in holes from pop rivets?

Postby Yoshi » Fri Apr 11, 2014 12:20 pm

Soo new body kit has different places to drill holes for the pop rivets. Cool. But the old holes are just there collecting rust and letting water in. Same with my sun roof delete. the bondo/fg cracked and now the car leaks in the rain. What's the best way for me to seal these holes?

I used small dime sized sheet metal, held against the inside of the body and tacked from the outside. Then skim coated with bondo. There is pics in the thread for Courts 323i when I deleted the spoiler holes in the trunk for him.
