Re: Odd Electrical Issue, w/ Video.
I know. First step in diagnosis. Alternator or battery? $0 check is to pull the + wire off with the motor running and see if it still runs. If not, alt is good. If so, take battery to parts store and have tested.
I'm agreeing with you. Where we part is simply me jumping to conclusions

I can't figure out what you're saying.
When the car is idling, it should be running off the alternator. The battery should actually be getting charged. If you unplug the battery, it just prevents it from getting charged - car still runs off of alt. I don't see how unplugging the battery while it's running tests the battery in any way. It tests the alt. for sure.

it doesn't test the battery, it implicates it.

I don't see how it implicates it. The car should run with the battery unhooked. Unhooking the battery after startup does nothing. The battery is really only there to start the car. After that, it sits there and charges up for the next time it gets it's moment to shine.

lol I think we are arguing over nothing really. Test alt and test battery. We go from there.
