Why do I have to unlock my doors through my trunk?

Gauge Help!

Hey whats up fellas im new to the bimmer world i recently grabbed this bad boy and I have a question about installing VDO gauges.
Im having trouble finding a legit place for oil pressure sending unit on the m30b34 any ideas? I wasnt really looking to use the drain plug method any other ideas??

what's the drain plug method? You can T into the oil pressure dummy light. Not sure where that is on the M30 though.

yep, T off the sender port. I hope you got an electric oil pressure gauge versus a mechanical one. Welcome to e3p, lets see some more pics of the car!

Thanks fellas. Im glad i found this forum glad to be a part. The drain plug method is someone told me about but i wasnt with that movement. My plan was to tap the oil filter housing.But the question is will i have a good pressure reading from this location??

Yeah, the oil filter housing will work fine. Nice e28, thing looks raw.

yep. great spot for pressure. everything gets pushed into the motor after that.
