How can I figure out WHY my tach isn't working?

Why do I have to unlock my doors through my trunk?

After all that it was just the fuse? Isn't that usually the first thing to check? That reminds me. I have to replace the fuse for my blower motor that must have blown when I had my timing belt done.

And the SI batteries. I think. Yea.. shoulda checked that. I only found one fuse for the cluster so I figured that was it. Cruising forums, someone pointed that other fuse out and I was like "omg".

Course, now I have to find someone locally with an hp tuner to futz with my tach.

What "adjustment" did the "tuners" make to the tach signal?

In the HP tuner software, there's actually a few outputs you can do to change what gets set on the tach. I've seen E36 guys run their tach with just the ECU tuning and nothing else. Since the M50 based motors work on E30 clusters for rpms, I figured it should work on E30s as well. Right?
