Some. Not all E30s have those kinds of headlights. some are sealed beam. I'm not sure the date cut off. maybe research that?

You should have someone do a write up on wheel et's and how that works like a whole wheel thread. cause that whole et thing confuses me, although no one has ever explained it to me lol

+1 for that write up. I had no idea what all the et stuff was untill I ordered these basket weaves. Someone said they would look better if I use wheel spacers with them. So I started searching to see what size spacers and bam complete confusion lol.

I believe 88-89 was the only years elipsoids where used in the US cars, all others where sealed beam. Either way, part of doing a writeup is the research! :) I would love to add a wheel offset sticky to our collection, someone get on it!

I think he means front brake pads and stuff like that. Call me crazy but Ive had the theory that cars need front brake lights for a while now. That way you can tell if someone is going to stop or not at an upcoming stop sign or stop light when they are coming at you lol.

No... I meant brakes in general....

I'll have to show this on my e30 when I get it up here cause I'll be doing it then. I didn't have my camera last night to show it... and besides... we already had the whole thing take apart.

for a 24v swap you can use an Audi A4 brake booster and MC
depending on which mounts u use determains if u need to run a remote resivior or not.
plunger rod must be cut back a few threads depending on how much u need to shorten it to match the original lenght of your stock booster.
pedel clevis must be drilled and tapped to 14mm IIRC.
custom brake lines are needed for this
just get the stock brakes lines off the MC for the a4 and use your E30 stock lines and have them braised and pressure tested.

car mine came from
2001 audi A4 1.8T NON QUATTRO
i believe the years are 1998-2002

Tony, are we still doing this? I am tenatively planning on doing a valve adjustment when I go home for Thanksgiving, I should be able to do a write-up then.

Also, would there be any interest if I did one for resetting the service/inspection lights? I know it's fairly easy, but it is useful info. Just did it today.

yes and yes! Both would be great additions to the general tech stickies.

So I think we should actually compile a ToDo list of needed stickies. I have ported everything that I own (my information) but there are lots of other things that are needed.

If we had a concise list it would let people be more aware when they undertake required projects like M20 cooling and timing stuff.
