the new guy

Postby long tall eta » Wed Mar 27, 2013 11:20 pm

well, u guys have another noob. i am how ever not totaly new to e30's. i've bin pushing my eta around for 4 years now. she's an 86 es with a build date of 11/85. totaly stock with the exception of a chip and a 3.25 lsd. she's got in the neighborhood of 370,000 on the clock and still runs like a champ. some of you might know me from tech as 54bobby or r3v by the same name as here. i'll post some pics up shortly.

welcome.

I'm surprised the odometer lasted that long more than the fact the engine has.

odometer didn't last that long. i bought her in july of 09. the odo broke 2 weeks later at 246, and some change. my fault on that. i should of known better than to hit the trip meter while moving. from july of 09 till now, i've driven her to work and back every day. thats 100 round trip x 50 weeks a year = 25,000 a year x 3.5 years = 87,500 + the 246,000 = 333,500 + 3.5 years of recreational driving. and do a lot of recreational driving. i mean the wife and i think nothing of hopping in her and driving from home (cape may nj ) to western pa out rt 6 just for a 2 day road trip. so yea, anywhere from 350 to 370,000.

boy i love my eta

See, I don't get that. I've heard that before, but I do it all the time in my car and it's never broke. :|
