M325i - Why I think BMW has lost its way

So... it's not an "M" car. It's essentially analogous to the "is" models of the E30. Suspension and visual upgrades but the motor is the same as the others (maybe with an up tune).

Why do they have to do all this naming crap? the 335i of the E90 was 3 liters. Why do we need a 2 series? Why is the 3 series essentially a 5 series now? WTF BMW?

yep, fail. Same reason they said they were making the 4 series as a 2 door 3 series, then came out with a 4 door 4 series. The company has lost its way due to the bean counters doing the decision making. It's pretty obvious nobody with any real passion for cars or motorsports is making any significant decisions anymore.

I've been frustrated with BMW for so long. They finally get Bangle and then they introduce the most convoluted naming scheme in the history of automobiles.

During the Bangle era, BMW overtook Mercedes as the global leader in premium car sales.

They wish that they are Toyota.
We don't buy Camrys but they don't care about us.

I plan to apply once I've graduated. I doubt I'd get so much as a phone call, but it's worth a shot. By then, they might have even gotten their act together.

you hit it on the head. As much as we would like to think we are, we are are not even on BMWs radar. We are not the target demographic.
