We were down in Fort Myers a couple months ago, and I was looking at 1 bedroom condos on lovers key that were going for 120k right on the beach. We're still trying to get my mother in law to go half with us on one to have a sweet little summer home. Just love it down there.

I thought I would post my build on this site. I'll try to put up pics of my $1000 dollar s50 and $150 e30 tomorrow.
Reason... it seems that there is a lot of good info. on this site that doesn't get muddled up in guys throwing insults back and forth. Let me know if I'm wrong.
This isn't to show off any of my skills, or big-time lack thereof, more a way to get valid pointers from more experienced e30 guys and not only post when I run into an issue.

There's a reason why this is the only site I have a build thread on. Lots of good info here, and not nearly as much useless BS. We give eachother crap, but it's not complete strangers arguing over stuff neither of them know as much about as they think. Welcome!

Welcome! We would love to see your build come together. I also only have my build here. I recently deleted all my pictures and info off e30tech. Just not fond of the other e30 sites.

Precisely the reason why I came here and started a build thread. This is a great forum with a great group of people. Lots of info and lack of b.s.

Welcome!

Here's the car 2 yrs ago...
time flies, baby, wife, purchase of a shitty old house
finally getting to do some fun stuff with the car.
To be honest, never fancied an e30. I'm just cheap, and my neighbor's Mom wanted her son's car out of the garage. So 3 yrs ago, for $150, I rolled it 1/8 mile down their driveway and into my parents' drive. It's grown on me since... quite a bit actually.
I'm in St. Louis. Work from home at night, take care of a 2yr old by day, my life revolves around pbj sandwiches, "sitting on the stoop" with milk, and religious potty training, and then sitting at a computer. The car is one release among a couple
I'll switch this over to the build site...

Pretty sure the early models had them too on certain cars. My 87 has them, and as far as I can tell it came that way from the factory.
