FS - Fairfax VA 1990 325is S52 swapped (pix warning)

Postby Yoshi » Mon Jan 20, 2014 7:46 pm

Reluctantly putting this thing up for sale. It's a 1990 325is that is the most rust free E30 shell I've ever owned. I've put ~500 miles on the car since the swap. Holds temp great. The S52 is pushing around 240whp with the chip and port/polish job on the head. I can chirp tires in second gear by simply flooring it (no clutch futzing). Legally passed safety last week. The original build thread that I stopped updating is here: http://www.slidewaysonline.com/Forum4.0 ... f=8&t=1191

Asking $7k OBO

Factory options list and vin if you'd like to carfax it.

I'm not convinced it would. When it gets dirty, the grime gets sooo into the paint. I still want to give it a shot. Sadly, it's snowing. I washed this thing yesterday :)

If only I wasn't already looking at a E30 with crappy paint :P J/k, would be a great car if I wasn't hunting that M3 down. Good luck with the sale!

Hello Yoshi, any updates? If it's still available, Is it stable enough for a 6 hour drive and DD duties? I would love to have something like this... So conflicted.

I have a deposit on the car. You can convince the guy to give it up lol.

It should be fine to drive for 6 hours but with the under sized tires and super short diff, the highway is kinda... high rpm. Otherwise, it's a great car.

Oh good'! If he or she buys it, I won't be tempted. What's the final price , if you don't mind me asking.?
