IX and e28 shells

Postby 87e30 » Fri May 01, 2015 9:03 pm

There's a good chance I'll be getting a couple completely stripped shells on Monday. One is a red IX smashed in the rear, the other I'm pretty sure is an e28, or what's left of it (I honestly only glanced at it in passing). Just about everything is gone on both, but there may still be something usable to someone. Got some rotten sheet metal that you want to replace? The IX looks pretty much toast, and would take WAY too much to get it back on the road because of all the damage, but the other one MIGHT be worthy of a complete rebuild. Both have titles. I'm supposed to be scrapping them, but I figure I'd post about them beforehand to see if there's any interest. If you think you might need something you would have to be available to be in Central Jersey on Monday or Tuesday at the very latest with your own cutting torch/tools. We do have a torch here if you wanna toss my boss a few bucks toward the gas.

The e30 trunk as wasted unless you want to straighten it all out. Don't think it would be worth it. As I mentioned though, both shells have clean titles, which could mean something to someone, which is why I posted. I haven't gotten the call to pick them up yet. Depending on what time that call comes (if it comes at all) I may be either taking them directly to scrap, or bringing them back to my shop until tomorrow, then to scrap.
