Ok, you certifiably have an addiction. At least this one seems somewhat cheaper than an E30 lol.

Don't count on it, lol. Ammo isn't cheap. I hardly shoot anymore because of the expense. Hunting season, and a few games of Sporting Clays pretty much eats my annual budget.

Yeah I know I do -grin-

I don't think it is any cheaper really. Probably around the same. Ammo is pricey sometimes and the firearms are as well depending on what it is. This rifle costed more than my e30 did. But I got the car for around 350 so it was lower than what I would consider normal. This rifle was a good deal though. It was probably the best price I had seen on one for at least a year. Firearms are extremely addicting. Very hard to just have one. I believe I'm up to 23 now lol.

Put a nice sturdy and reliable upper together for it with some good iron sights and save it for the Zombie Apocalypse and/or me :D I seriously have no guns because of German laws and the only gun I have that I can claim is my great grandfathers Swedish sniper rifle >.>

Haha. In the even of a zombue apocalypse, how would you make it back here from Germany?

I'm thinking about trying a different caliber and hunting with it someday. Could be fun. And I may just going the the normal caliber again. Or an upper for both. So many choices haha.

Hmmm, well I was looking to get a lower from an Ar15 and build a .22 upper, that and a 1911 style .22 would be great. Cheap ammo for both and I could still kill zombies :D

Ive got a handful of .22's already. Guess thats the beauty of the modular ar15 design.

So I can waste twice the ammo in the same amount of time haha.

I've seen a double 1911 before. Pretty neat but I would be worried about it from a legality standpoint. More that one shot per pull of the trigger is not sonething the atf likes to see without jumping through the proper hoops.

Wow thats crazy. That company also makes a rifle called the "omen" . Its the first semi-auto that I know of in 300 winchester magnum. Its a pretty impressive rifle. I've heard rumors that the military might be going to use it for their snipers.

Some guns can get wayyyy up there in price. But its not really any different than cars. Alot of good priced firearms can do everything the more expensive ones can without breaking the bank. Take ar15's, you can buy one for 700-800 for a good working rifle. If you build your own and watch for sales you can come out cheaper. But you could also spend tons with many of the top tier brands hitting higher that 2k. Its that way with alot of firearms.
