Pretty nice looking ride. The only thing I don't really care for is the red interior. I've never been a fan of the color red.

Is that shift console original? I thought those zig-zag back and forth looking shifters were a recent thing.

That original, I love those cars. I might be getting a W202 in next year or so when my Mother-in-law upgrades to a Z4.

MB has been using the gated shifter since the mid 50's on the ones I've actually seen.

Good luck to him if he gets pulled over around here with those plates on it. The cops won't know what to think of it so they'll pull him over and harass him for a few hours, and possibly impound it.

Luckily for him it only has a 4 cyl naturally asperated deisel with a whopping 40hp. 0-60 in 12 min. 8)

He's got the paperwork for temp. registration and all that jazz.
You can see the tag in the front windshield.
The cops will still have to run the docs tho.

Ah, Mercedes back when they actually designed vehicles for a purpose first and to a price second. That coupe is pristine! The van is in excellent shape, too, considering it seems like the owners are going all over the place with it.

How much does it cost, and how long does it take, to ship a vehicle across the ocean?

I work @ Mozart's Garage. We just moved from Sawmill to over off of Trades West Rd in November.

The reputation of the shop is not great because of what the boss does, and I cannot comment on what I think about it. The repairs I do are good and the vehicles leave in good condition, I am very confident in the work I do. If you need any parts/or have any questions on how to repair something shoot me a PM or if it's something I can help out with let me know. If anyone drops by I will always awnser questions,ect.. when work is busy the boss doesn't like it when I'm not getting work out but I get most of the jobs done by the end of the day anyways.

From personal experiance shipping a vehicle from San Diego to Hawaii took about 2 months IIRC. And was about $3-4k. That was a long time ago, most likely will cost a ton more because of fuel prices. I had a friend selling his iX a year ago to an Australain and it was getting shipped back for around $6.5k from what I remember.
