Hot and exhausting. There must have been a special today on passenger front tires because I towed 4 cars with passenger front flats. 1 guy had a driver front flat and 3 bubbles in his passenger front.

people be ignoring maintenance <_<. What are temps like? Been 95 daily here.

I barely have any time to work on my cars these days. I work out so much and work has me running ragged. Plus I'm doing all these track days for other people. Going to NJ for my apprentice in pro/am (wall nj again). Going up friday night, staying in a hotel, hopefully be in my bed saturday late late. Then I got domestic duties and running. Doubt I'll get to the car :(

Pretty tame day at work. Gotta go home and fix the wife's vdub. Unloader relay took a shit so she doesn't have AC, 12v outlet or washers.

I wish I had time to work out. Used to hit the gym at 5am every morning for a nice 2 hourish workout before work. When my work days got much longer I stopped having time to go to the gym. :'(

Going to NJ this friday? I'll be on my way to Michigan when you're here. Going out to visit my sister in the hospital in Toledo, OH. She got hit head on by a Lincoln doing 60 on the wrong side of the road a couple weeks ago. She's messed up real bad. There was nothing left of her Pontiac but a ball of bent metal. It's amazing she even survived!

It's been in the 90's most of the week. A little cooler today, only in the 80's.

Dammit, I have a blister on my finger from turning someones ignition key! Damn Hyundais!

I've literally NEVER fixed a car where the relay was actually an issue. I just don't get how they shit themselves. There was one that I found that was in the mud for 6 months. That one didn't work. But it didn't break on a car.

NJ friday/saturday. Why michigan? Holy crap I'm sorry about your sister. Pontiacs crumple well. So that probably helped I think. Was this ass hat that hit her drunk or something? I don't even... wow... some people.

Trying to buy a house in Michigan so I'll be back and forth between Monroe, MI and the hospital in Toledo.

No idea if the guy was drunk or not. I hope he wasn't, because I'd probably end up killing him myself. Here's a picture of the scene of the accident. It's hard to believe anyone made it out of the Pontiac.

Article about the accident http://www.toledoblade.com/Police-Fire/ ... oledo.html

Quote from another article:

"Police say a white Lincoln being driven by Carter was traveling the wrong way on Benore when it crashed into a Grand Prix driven by Wagner.

The Lincoln burst into flames.

Other drivers stopped their vehicles and pulled Carter from the car.

Wagner was also rescued and taken by air ambulance to the hospital.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

"I was driving westbound on Benore and the white Lincoln almost hit me head on and swerved. And I watched him hit the car behind me. It was horrific. He was probably going 60 miles an hour," said Chuck Burge, witness.

Off duty fire chief Terry Goad rescued the driver from the Lincoln.

"The car was totally engulfed in flames, started getting worse. Someone said someone was trapped in there so I ran up, kicked the door at first. Luckily we got the door pried. His foot was kind of pinned. Finally a couple of us got him pulled out at the last minute," said Goad.

Benore Road at the I-75 overpass was closed while crews cleaned up the mess. "

It was actually a dark blue/green if I remember correctly. I've never actually seen the car in the daylight that I can remember.

Good lord, that's horrible. Is she expected to make a full recovery?

Relay fixed the wife's car btw, got lucky I guess.

I sure hope so. Don't really know much of what's going on yet, I guess I'll find out tomorrow. I know she's had at least 3 surgeries so far. For the record, she's not my blood relative, but she's like a sister to me... In case conversation about family comes up for whatever reason in the future. About to head out there right now so I can visit her tomorrow. Might help if I find out the visiting hours before I leave on a 10 hour drive.

Yes, sometimes slapping relays helps, but other times it just hides a loose solder connection underneath the relays that you have to spend 3 days figuring out 6 months down the line.

Thanks. She's beat up pretty bad, but she's in great spirits. She's in a lot of pain with many broken bones. Doctors are saying the chances are very good that she'll be able to walk again. She's gonna be in the hospital for at least another 4 months though. I found out the guy who hit her already has 4 DUI's, has totaled 5 cars, the most recent of which was only 2 weeks before this accident. Not sure if he was drinking or whatever this time. He's still in a coma. She doesn't even have bad thoughts toward him. She's one of the sweetest people you could meet. The thing she's most upset about is one of her tattoos got cut in half. I just hope she doesn't mind me posting this here.

Can always retouch the tattoo. I would assume walking is her top priority lol.

I know people who have multiple DUIs and crashes. You can't get through to them. It's depressing.
