Oh gawd, I don't have any type of racing controller. (Generally a World of Warcraft, SWTOR player) I'm a friggin mess trying to play on my keyboard..lol that damn G27 is expensive eh? You guys know if there is anything comparable for a 37 year old fella' with 4 kids who's wife thinks he should be in rehab for his gaming addiction?
...which by the way, isn't that bad usually.. but I have been known to play for 28 hours straight once or maybe twice..

You can easily get a Driving Force Pro for less than $100, much less than $100 used.
Here's one with a current bid of $20.50.

Re: iRacing Free for Three Months!
Tried iRacing out for the first time last night. Man, I'm slow - I ran about 15 laps around Okayama in a Miata, and I couldn't manage faster than a 1:54.2...
I tried a practice session at Lime Rock in the same car and it was pretty difficult to even make it around the track at speed. Everyone was just blowing by me lol the first 2 corners are tricky...
And I second the vote for the Driving Force wheel. It's what I'm using, and it works great. I think I need to change some clutch setting though, since it won't shift smoothly in iRacing, but it's fine in rFactor 2...
