Damn. You're pumping out high quality pretty quick. Usually people stick to shit stuff for a while.

haha, thanks guys. I have a bit of a head start coming from a design background already, plus I've been researching vinyl cutting for while now. Got some more stuff I've been working on, I'll throw up some pics tonight if I get time.

Matt, your decals are all cut, weeding them now, should ship Wednesday as planned.

Couple more items I've been working on:

Made this for my neighbor who is a DMB freak (I know...). It's probably my least favorite item I've done. It used the most layers I've worked with and I should have designed it to overlap fewer layers. You can see where lower layers are visible through the top layer, bugs me. I found that anything over two layers need to be clipped so they don't overlap like that. Also, the arc over the lettering should have been white since it was going on a tinted window. Live and learn, she loved it anyway.

I made this for my boat, it goes with the toilet I posted earlier. No installed pics yet since I'm currently in the middle of buffing the boat. Soon.

next thing I need to work on is installing the vinyl on contoured surfaces. Flat stuff is easy, but curved stuff requires application fluid and sometimes heat, neither of which I've worked on. I'm going to use my UTV as a practice canvas, not sure what I'm doing on it yet though.

Not sure yet, I need to find the cheapest way to ship these in a tube. I think they may qualify for media shipping but I need to talk to the post office to be sure.

I'm afraid you're out of luck on that one. Only books and SOME recordings qualify. As per USPS website:

Maximum weight is 70 lbs.
The material sent must be educational media. Video games, computer drives, or digital drives of any kind are not items qualified for mailing at Media Mail prices.

I see. Well I can tell you that shipping companies don't generally like tubes since they roll. You never know though.

yeah I was worried about that. I'll just have to see what the best way to ship larger decals like Matt's is. I've had people just throw decals into a envelope and they get destroyed. Maybe I can roll them and fit them in a flat rate box, but I'd be afraid of them getting damaged...

If I'm reading the USPS website right it looks like it should be around $6-7 to ship a tube to you Matt. I'll PM you the total after I get it all packed up tonight.

Funny you should say that, I cut some DTM style DEKRA number plaques last night. I haven't weeded them yet, but they should look awesome on my car. I'll get some pics up when I get them cleaned up.

Here is a few things I cut for the race car when I did Matt's order. I had a bunch of empty space to fill in the layout area so I wasn't wasting vinyl.

Here is a neat trick I learned to make weeding easier. Chalk line chalk rubbed over the vinyl shows the cut lines really well, but wipes right off after weeding so it doesn't leave any stains.
Image

Here is the largest sign I've done so far. With the lettering it's 44"x58" and will go on the front of my buddies back yard bar he built.
