Post Re: Dexter Turbo Stage 4: Lookin good
I got tired of doing the body work and with the drift event coming up, I just slapped some gloss black over top after final body work. Basically, the paint is rough but the body work is sound. When I finally get my paint setup done, I should be able to sand it down with some 320, paint, and be dandy.

Final coats:
2 etching primer
3 primer
1 gloss black

Also, I just pop riveted the back on for time savings. When I'm 100% done, I'll cut and mold them appropriately.

To an extent. not much more than the stock license plate did tho. Plus it's not pressed up against the rad and FMIC so you can get some flow between tehm.

Gimmie a few days :). My regular video camera broke so I'll be relying on my in car stuff.

Taken the week off from working on the car. I'm going back to it tomorrow though. Dunno what I'll get done. We'll see.

A taste of things to come:
0.120" mls for slightly higher comp.

Wilwood master cyl with a 2psi residual pressure valve to keep line pressure between yanks.

So good news. The HG is fine as far as I can tell. The VC was always warped so I should have seen this coming. The gasket pushed out so much that oil got past. I'm not really sure why it was so pressurized but it makes sense on how theres oil all over the place but no oil in my coolant and coolant in my oil.

Boo dead gasket

Uneven mating surface. I need a new VC

you look sad in the pic. :( You also need to figure out why you have boost in the crank case.
