I need to get a new filter but it definately isn't clogged enough to cause this. When I took the fuel rail loose a good bit of fuel shot out pretty speedily. I've got another list of stuff to check tonight to see if I can narrow it down further. I've heard of people having ecu probems that cause similar symtoms and ews problems. I hope it isn't one of those lol.

Did some more checking. Injections ohmed out fine and are opening when cranked. Maf is fine, coolant temp sensor is fine, throttle position sensor is fine too.

I bought a fuel pressure gauge but I have to get a couple extra things to be able to hook it up and see. I hope it will shed some light on all this. Everything I have tested so far has been within spec. Just hoping that one of these isn't showing its good but is bad. That would suck and take some time to track down.

Edit: fuel pressure right at 55psi.

And the car runs again. Again I have no idea what happened or what corrected it. This is the second time this has happened lol.

Haha I love/hate those fixes. Great when the problem never arises again, but irritating as hell when it pops back up right as you've become comfortable that it's gone and trust the car again...

Yep. These probems and fixes irritate me. I have a hard time trusting the car again for a while. We have had this e34 for about 3 years now and have put about 30,000 miles on it. I hate to say it but it may be time to replace it already. Its failing more and more. Leaving us stranded and without a car. And I'm getting of fixing it lol. Every little problem that can keep it off the road has done it. Only problem we have had with it that didn't effect the engine in some way was a rear wheel bearing. Maybe we just got a lemon. My luck with cars hasn't been the best lol.

Oh well. We have gotten alot of use out of it. So I'm not too upset. We will see I guess.

I noticed my E46 whistles sometimes. Turns out, it's only when it's winter...

When we first got this e34 the passenger side door lock wouldn't lock with the others. Also only durring winter. Weird thing it stopped and hasn't done it for a while. Even through last winter.

We had someone break a window in the car a few months back. Don't think I posted that. The smashed in the passenger side window. Nothing was stolen though. Still pissed me off.
