I, too, was thinking my sig was getting a touch on the lengthy side. Not my fault though! I can't help the fact that I'm right all the time. 8)

Edit:
There, tried to make it a bit more compact for ya

Got some new (used) wheels for my ride. I just installed the rears because 1 of the tires that came with them is completely shot, and I'm thinking about getting wider tires on 2 of the wheels anyway to go on the rear. They are 205/40R17 Fuzion ZRi tires. I'm thinking 225/40R17 for the rear and moving the 205's up front. I also have to check the clearance on everything and didn't have time to do it. The wheels came with a pair of 20mm spacers and extended lug studs with nuts. They don't look bad on my car at all.

Needs WAY higher aspect ratio, or you need to slam that thing on the ground. Wheel looks freaking tiny, not really feeling it with those tires.

The tires ARE smaller than I want, but it really looks a lot better in person than in the picture. In person it doesn't look bad at all. I think the angle I took the shot from, and the huge meaty rubbery front tires make the rears look that much smaller. Try covering the front part of my car in the pic and look at the back wheel. Makes a big difference IMO.

Who makes a good CHEAP tire in 205/45R17 or 225/40R17? I'm actually not as impressed with the Fuzions as I thought I would be from the reviews. Most people were saying how they could hit like 360 degree turns at 480MPH and grip the whole way (obviously exaggerated), but I thought I was feeling some slip in them at 40MPH on turns that were nothing special. May have been at least partially due to them being VERY low on air though. I should have checked the air before driving on them.

Craigslist man, I don't think I'll ever buy new tires for a DD again.

I don't know about cheap, but there are tons of great 225/45/17's out there, and they will grip like glue. Fuzions aren't exactly all that great... 205/40 is just tiny. Also, keep in mind if you put wider tires on the rear it won't want to oversteer as much.

225/45R17's are .99 inch taller and over an inch wider than stock. Will those rub? I do plan on lowering my car too.
