Wow those came out increadable. Did you do anything different than the normal way to smoke them? They look like they kinda have a blueish tint to them. Very awesome! Im wanting to do this so bad once I find a good set of headlights for a descent price.

Wow that looks increadable. How are the turn signal rings mounted? Just pinched by the crosshairs? Or held in place by them

Thanks!

this picture shows it pretty well. the cross-hairs are acting as a bracket to hold it firmly in place (not attached/glued, just pressure)

I love projects like that, applying a product never intended for that use and it turning out beautifully, well done. Looking forward to some action shots.

Yikes I definately will not be doing any business with them. If they conduct business that unprofessionally then Im very surprised that they have a business at all.

He had the elitest attitude 'we sell so many of these a day, i dont care how i treat one person'. I wanted to get my money back, but he wouldnt give it to me so I'm stuck using his product. I will give the full story after I get my parts back. I could see him not sending it if i were to go off on all the forums.

got outside the other day before the snow/sleet/etc and did a full interior detail. the last interior item left is to dye the carpet black.

also went to a local guy today who rolls fenders in his garage, he did a great job (no pics) but couldnt put more roll on the back (was already slightly rolled)

oh yeah, and i just became aware of the budget-freindly retrofit bi-xenon kits available (how did i miss it before!) so i may be incorporating those.

So clean! The rear fenders are partially rolled from the factory on late models, probably due to the lower arches. They are really thick too, which is why many people don't roll them flat. It can be done though, mine are rolled flat. It helps to have a helper pushing on the outside of the fender while you work the roller.

Did you heat the paint as you rolled? Any cracking?

Well, with how far it was rolled, and how much sealer was behind it, there was no where for the fender to go. He put some extra effort into it and the fender was looking like it would pull before it would roll more. No matter, there should be plenty of clearance.

Yup he heated. No cracking paint on the outside, some flaking on the inside (to be expected, the paint wasnt in great shape there anyhow)

with the 215 tire on the side which has less clearance: (are e30s ever even in the back?)

should be room for a 235 back there at some point.
