So it's about damn time...

FINALLY replaced the fender and valence, and redid the mount setup for the lip so it doesn't sag anymore.

New vs old:

Looking much better! Fender still needs a little aligning.

Yeah, I'm kinda missing like 4 of the clips for the upper bolts, that may have a bit to do with it...

Better pic from today. Also Austin and I stopped by wags house because he desperately needs to get rid of some parts. I FINALLY have a glovebox!!! Although looking at the firewall, 2 of the 3 studs it's supposed to be fastened to are gone :( Picked up some other bits small bits too which was awesome.

Small update, finally got the star specs mounted on the BBS:

I do like the way that tread pattern looks. Another plus, the steering feels significantly lighter now. Must have been the goofy wear the RE-11's had, I am very much liking that.

Well these showed up today...
Image
Condor Speed Shop UHMW Motor and trans mounts. Now here's hoping I can get at least the motor mounts in tomorrow morning so i can race Saturday...

Also got this in the other day, new //M trim for the steering wheel. Figured I might as well tack it onto my pelican order since I was already paying shipping for an $8 rad hose.

Crappy pic, but it is very noticeably better looking.
