Not really into slammed muscle cars, I like the old school look if beefy tires and just a bit of rake. I'll probably drop the front just a tad but that's it.

The pcar is another guys car which is just kicking off. It was an actual barn find, and I guess its kind of a rare bird. Something to do with which engine it has and the color. I guess that engine wasn't offered in this chassis trim code, but the vin confirmed its original to the car. A set of rings for this engine from Porsche is $11k! The car was resprayed red after an accident at some point, but during tear down he found the original collor was a dark green, which was never available on US spec cars (which this is) so between the engine and paint their thinking this was a sort of COPO car for an executive or something. Their still doing a bunch of research on it, including some major players in the Porsche community around the country. At least that's what I'm told.

That sounds really cool, but scary. I think really expensive cars would give me migraines worrying about them all the time.

I was thinking these pics were from your garage, then I realized no E30...

Overdue update. The car is home now, has been for a while though I haven't had time to work on assembly. All my minimal free time has gone to fixing our daily drivers...plus my next son will be born sometime in the next couple months, so getting everything ready for him has been time consuming.

I did manage to score a pair of fairly clean e30 vert black sport seats which I plan to install in the Chevelle. I'll be getting those this weekend with some other fun e30 bits. I also picked up a Hurst floor mount slap shifter, and a line lock unit that should make the drive to work a bit more fun.

I'll try and get some pics to throw up this weekend to at least show where it sits these days. Progress on both cars will be slow given the other things going on in my life, but I'm on no hurry anymore, lol.

We're both getting fixed after this one, two is enough. A girl would have been cool, but I got grandkids to look forward to someday so maybe then, lol. Fuck that sentence made me sound ancient...

This is going to be really beautiful when it's all back together. Now, about finding the time to get it back together...
