The only check panel light left is the oil level sensor but apparently I took out that plug. So now I have no idea how that ish works. Wonder how I can figure that one out.

Pull the bulb, lol.

on the check panel? nah. I want everything legit working in this car. I'm so very close. Even ABS "works" now. I use quotes because I haven't tested it yet.

Lol, look at Yoshi being all OCD and stuff. Nice to know that you're putting the time in to fix everything, I'd say if that's the one leak then why not fix it but the latter can be argued as well : ) Interesting place to put your gauge, if you're going to have multiples I could have them right below the air conditioning portion. Not sitting in the tray but right under that lip, I think it would look well imo

Nah I'm not being THAT ocd. you should see how I mounted the remote unlocker... It's just kinda shoved somewhere and zip tied out of the way. It's enough to be clean looking but not clean. Even the speaker wiring... I just pulled it out into the back seat and routed the wires. It's about 4 feet longer than it needs to be. just tapped up and under the seat for meow lol.

I WOULD fix that leak but that requires me to remove the vanos unit (requires realigning), and a new gasket for that area. I might try to get at it when I check the cam specs and such. Got some stuff to do there then I'd call the motor checked.

Been driving around in this car a lot lately. The 3.73 with the ZF trans has me at 60mph at 3500. With the purposefully undersized rear tires, I'm really doing something like 50-55 range. It's really annoying. I keep finding 3.25 pinion/ring gear combos on ebay but I'm not sure I want to do all that work. Bah.

Also, I think I smell something when I get on the gas real hard but I can't tell. Not much room to get on it when you live in a city. What could it be?

well fuck me... fuck me hard.

So there's coils on the car now. The high end GC kit. Got a screaming good deal since the apprentice is leaving E30s (sad yoshi). So yea, this car, minus bucket seat, is full track ready now. WTF happened?

PS: Gonna need that peerless skid plate soon

He got into the drift scene a while ago and I sold him the E30. Showed him how to mod it for the mad tyte drifts and all that jazz. He's surpassed me in most ways by now driving wise. Damn kids.

probably because his drift car has an engine. I'm told that's a big advantage when playing the motorsports.

Not sitting on jack stands for years at a time makes a difference too...
