Car actually came in to Atlanta! I'll be picking her up later today and bringing her back to Augusta. I've already redone most all of the suspension so I'll just be sending her to Texas to be in a nice garage where she can be driven on the weekends and taken care of til I get back stateside for good : ) Pics to come!

Psh, you just wait Tony. If I make some more money on cars I'll be trading a plane ticket for some driving lessons : )

So, I've had an issue with a crappy running car ever since I had the AFM rebuilt. I sent it and the cluster to be completely rebuilt by a reputable member of another forum, cluster came back better than new with everything absolutely gorgeous but the car hasn't run right since. I sent it back and it turns out they initially adjusted it to 325 specs and the owner adjusted it himself but it still won't run well. Current issues are a dying idle, poor throttle response and a loss of power at WOT. Any ideas off the top of your head? I've pulled the battery cable, checked to make sure everything was seated and sealed and started checking fuses. The entire ignition system and fuel system was replaced, relay changed, all the fuses were replaced (I got bored >.>) and I'm still having crap. It used to idle and run like a champ prior to the AFM being sent off.

I don't know shit about S14s... Timing? usually your symptoms are similar to vac leaks or maybe a bad O2 if you believe the maf is ok.

Did you change all that stuff at once, or the car started running crappy after the AFM was rebuilt and you changed everything else trying to fix it? Have you tried swapping in another AFM?

We had AFM issues with our M3 aswell. It seems like they are very difficult to get adjusted right. Time for MS lol

I've checked vacuum but I haven't smoke tested yet.

Everything else was changed because of a no start issue, I tried to help the previous owner but he insisted on replacing everything and not go with my suggestion of the fuel pump relay, works in my favor as I at least have a baseline for spark and fuel. I don't have a spare AFM set for an S14, I may try to adjust mine instead of spending that premium just for a spare tester.

I'll be going standalone once I figure out funding for the S14's rebuild. Gonna do a rebuild on an EJ205 to get some experience and hopefully make some money for the M3 though.

So it wasn't the TPMS, I can't think of many more sensors so I'm guessing vacuum, which is something I'm not gonna deal with to have the car stored for two years >.>
