lol I didn't have to modify anything in my e30's either. They were all already bent. No idea if it was intentional, or if they all just bend over the years.

I forget what it was I towed a couple years ago, but there was no clutch switch. You had to press the brake for it to start instead. Was definitely a newer car, which should narrow it down since there's very few sticks brought to this country anymore.

Did you replace the back window yet? Awesome that the dad wagon is in full effect. If you want I have a spare baby on board sign you can have, lol.

Year rear window was $250 installed from LKQ that had to get it from freaking canada. The front window was $300 installed.

Which is all good! Then the rear driver's tire was flat and I pulled a P0442 1/4 mile from my house <_< It's an emissions code and the car runs fine so I'm alright with it. But with moving, I just don't have time for this shit! Hopefully the tire is good and I can just patch it.

I feel you man, my stupid m111 powered w202 c230 is giving me hell with cam sensor and misfire codes, runs like ass. I have the truck torn apart for turbo seals and glow plugs so I just have to deal with the Merc running like poop until I get the truck fixed. Plus the starter on the boat is going out...

I ordered vanity plates today. $10 more a year? Yea I can swing that. Ironically, it's my first time ordering vanity plates. And patching a tire.

No upfront fee for the plates? If I'm not mistaken Michigan charges an extra $50 up front (and an additional $5 if you want a second plate) and like $10 per year after. I have vanity plates on 3 of my vehicles right now. I just pay whatever it is that they ask me for at the secretary of state office.

Impressed on patching the tire. Most people just throw a string plug in it and drive it 'till it explodes! lol. When I worked at teh tire shop we had SOOO many people come in with flats because their string plugs leaked.

Was $100 for the vanity plates and 2 years for registration. No extra fees. Yum!

String patch == patch to me lol. I usually just get new tires when I get holes in them. This will have to do for now. The tires are old and shot anyway. But I want to get new rims. No sense in spending money on tires that I'm just going to toss anyway.

WTF is a string patch? There's a string plug, a rubber plug, and a rubber patch. It's rare for a string plug to not leak. Rubber plugs will usually outlast the tire if used properly with the right glue.

So what do the plates say?

String plug. Whatever. The shoe string thing with rubber cement you just ream in there. Not the patch you take the tire off and mount from the inside. I'm moving houses, ain't got time for proper fixes. I'm using the wagon for moving stuff. <3 it!

You'll have to wait till the plates get here :-D

So I take back what I said about patching the tire. :-P Seriously man, spend the extra few cents on the rubber plug instead of the string one and it'll last forever. Never seen a rubber plug leak, but I've seen hundreds of string plugs leak.

That reminds me. My washer tank is STILL leaking even after replacing the rubber grommet. :-(

Washer doesn't work on the wagon :( I shouldn't have thrown out the spare from the parts car.

I don't even know if my parts car has a washer tank. I should probably check that before ordering a new tank from the dealer lol. I wonder if I'll still get a discount. The dealership down the street changed owners a couple months back and all the guys I knew left.

What's wrong with yours? Blame it on the guy who swapped the windshield? :-D

I hit the washer stalk and nothing happens. I haven't had time to troubleshoot. I think the unit is likely just dead and I need to swap it out. Could be a clog in the line but I find that unlikely. It's annoying because I park under a tree that drops sap lately.
