E30 323i rebirth

Postby Court M3 » Sun Mar 22, 2009 9:11 pm

Copied from another forum. Plans now are 2.8

First off this is going to take awhile. Between work and school, don't have much time to work on the car. Original plans were for m50 swap, but since I might be going back to Japan had to scrap that since car won't pass inspection.

Plans now call for swapping front fenders, new later euro valance and lip, getting rid or trucker side markers rear quarter and returning paint back to Henna

Quick update, finally got the Front Valance and had time to swap it out. Gotta get together with another member here and get those ugly reflectors holes covered up ;)

hahaha looks like your E30 has braces. I love the new valence. The colors clash really bad tho.

Are you in the armed services? Why would you go back to japan?

yes in military. And I'd go back because it's much more to do there.

Soooo jealous! I love that interior. I'll be watching this every step of the way!

I have a friend that is dying to go to japan. I'd like to visit there at least once in my life time!

Time for some updates. Left the car in Illlinois to be shipped to WA state. While there, Tony(Akorcorvelos here) did some repairs. Got rid of the federalization lights and filled the holes where the rear spoiler was.

Next is rust repair and repaint in Henna.
