Where to get parts for your E30!
Where to get parts for your E30!
So I was starting to put together the list of all the stuff I need to order to get my rebuild done. And I was thinking We need a master list of places that sell E30 parts. and it should be as comprehensive as can be. So please help me out here guys because my parts always come from forums or the junkyard, and I am going all new parts this time, so this is a whole new world for me! Whatever you add I will put in the first post and erase this narrative, so keep them coming. I figure a few sections will work: Motor OEM. Motor Performance, Body, Suspension, Forced Induction, Swap, Other.
But that list can change as well, I think a good parts vendor database will bring a lot of hits!

I've gotten several parts from http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php. They have a pretty good selection, and some of the lowest prices so far on most of the parts I've needed.
Schwarz 5-speed 87 325is (newest project)
Arktisblau 5-speed 86 325e (current DD)
Schwarz 5-speed 87 325e (parts car/LS1 swap?)
Gazellenbeige automatic 85 318i (70,000 miles)
Alpine white 5-speed 87 325is (my first e30, possibly for sale)

Looks like joecrotch hasn't logged in for 5 and a half years. I doubt he'll update his own list.
