BTW Here's an original Motorsport 1991/92 DTM instrument panel.

The Tieves racing ABS was much better than the e30's Bosch offering for the street. It could even function if going reaward...

So how much will they be? And can you make them in any color besides red? I'll take just about anything other than red. I hate the color red if you couldn't tell lol.
Schwarz 5-speed 87 325is (newest project)
Arktisblau 5-speed 86 325e (current DD)
Schwarz 5-speed 87 325e (parts car/LS1 swap?)
Gazellenbeige automatic 85 318i (70,000 miles)
Alpine white 5-speed 87 325is (my first e30, possibly for sale)
99 Suburban

Re: Currently building my cage
Red anodize is the only colour that will be offered. You can still paint them to the colour you want. Offering another colour means I have to double the inventory.

Re: Currently building my cage
Lee, how do you have all this info on the old DTM cars (like the pic of the cluster)? Is it readily available anywhere, or do you just see things you like and try to replicate them? I really like just about everything you've come out with lately. Now, if I could just afford it.
Re: Currently building my cage
These DTM parts pictures available on the net. Being a member of the German e30 M3 forum also allows some pretty exclusive shots of original cars. INteresingly, I only learned about the 1991/92 DTM cluster layout a few weeks ago, which is well synchronzed with the batch of clusters I started drafting a few weeks earlier.

Wow, happy coincidence.
Re: Currently building my cage
Instrument panels still have their protective PVC film. They will be sent out for anodizing (mostly red, and a few black ones) this Monday.

I'm so glad you decided to make some black ones. Let us know when they will become available, and of course what they will cost. I don't believe that was ever covered. Pics of finished product!

Fitted the "tacos" yesterday. I draw them during the Christmas holidays from pictures. I calculated the round openings for the tubes and crossed my fingers. How do you spell "slam dunk"? No cutting, no grinding.
